It is 2012

It has been a crazy long time since I have visited this place. Things with screech got real bad, real fast and our family was in survival mode for 2-3 months. Long story short, screech moved into a home with no other children back in his home town and our family was able to take sometime to reconnect.
During this few month break from foster care we bought a house. Well, technically we just bought it. We picked up the keys yesterday. It was a long, long, slow process and I hope that we never buy a bank owned property again. Was it worth it? Hell yes! It is amazing and perfect for our family. Doesn't have the yardage for goats but chickens and an epic size garden are in my future.
Let's see... What else has happened? The boys keep getting older, and bigger, and discovering new passions.
Bean loves to do art. I gave him a giant box filled with random bits of this and that and he loves to get some tape and create things. With the help from Bubbie and Husband he made his repunzal doll a very cool house. It comes fully furnished with a fireplace, chimney, and for a while there was a pool.
Monster...is still a monster. He is very opinionated, stubborn, and independent (as well as a huge mama's boy!). He is very talkative and loves wrestling with Bean. He likes to play with little plastic figures. It's very cute watching him create different situations with his toys.
Husband is still working, providing, and loven' on his family. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful father/husband. He is very excited to start being manly and working around the house... HIS house.
Now it's my turn. I don't have much of an update. I haven't had a haircut in 2.5 years and if I don't get one soon I am pretty sure that I am going to shave it all off. I've gotten into yoga. The kids like to practice yoga with me when I do it at home. I wish I had their flexibility!
I can't really think of anything else to share. Pretty boring post. Sorry about that. I'm sure with the move, and cleaning, and painting, and the pure chaos we are about to experience, I'll have a lot of fun and entertaining posts. For now, thank you for suffering through this one.
